Agency Mission Statement:

To collect, preserve and make available for public use the source materials of Arkansas history.

Agency Goal 1:

We will seek and acquire documents, papers, photographs and other primary sources of information about the history of Arkansas and its people.

Agency Goal 2:

We will preserve our source materials by careful usage, by temperature and humidity-controlled storage, by conservation techniques and by microfilm duplication.

Agency Goal 3:

We will maintain a public research room so that patrons may consult materials entrusted to our keeping.
